SYNOPSIS: This film is guaranteed to set your teeth On Edge. Based on the story by renowned horror writer CHRISTOPHER FOWLER (Roofworld, Spanky, Soho Black) On Edge tells the story of stroppy businessman, Thurlow, who goes to a dentists without an appointment and is forced to wait. Fed up of waiting, Thurlow wanders off, only to meet the enigmatic Doctor Matthews. Thurlow gets more than he bargained for in the dental surgery, to the horror and surprise of the receptionist, and the audience!

CAST: DOUG BRADLEY, who starred as 'Pinhead' in the HELLRAISER series of movies, brings the role of Doctor Matthews to life. Well-known actor CHARLEY BOORMAN (star of John Boorman's THE EMERALD FOREST), who received praise for his performance in the British feature THE BUNKER, plays Peter Thurlow. Newcomer BETH MURRAY, plays The Receptionist. On Edge also features cameo appearances by CHRISTOPHER FOWLER himself, and maverick feature director JUSTIN BALDWIN.

PRODUCTION: PANAVISION EUROPE supplied the camera equipment, which enabled us to shoot Anamorphic (2.35:1 Ratio), helping to make the film suitable to be attached to a theatrically released feature (Columbia TriStar's I STILL KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER). Rudolf Buitendach edited the film at THE CREATIVE PARTNERSHIP. METROCOLOR, THE MOVING PICTURE COMPANY, MAGMASTERS and TRU-CUTS handled post-production duties.

Prosthetics and Mechanical Effects were created by BOB KEEN at IMAGE EFFECTS of Pinewood, whose credits include the Hellraiser series, Return Of The Jedi, Alien, Nightbreed and Highlander. Cinematography is by BAFTA Award Nominee ALAN STEWART, whose previous work includes the acclaimed drama Holding On and the Tartan Shorts films. Music for the film is by SELF DESTRUCTIVE NATURE (a band formed by Frazer Lee with PAUL DI'ANNO guitarist PAULO TURIN), and DOOJ, formerly of THE JAZZ BUTCHER.

SCREENINGS: ON EDGE has screened at over 20 film festivals worldwide. Several TV channels including Canal Plus, TF1, HBO South America, Film Four UK and Sci Fi Channel USA have screened ON EDGE, the latter as part of CLIVE BARKER'S Sci Fi EXPOSURE showcase. ON EDGE was distributed in UK cinemas by COLUMBIA TRISTAR with I STILL KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER.

Frazer Lee is developing further projects with Doug Bradley, including a horror feature film and graphic novel called URBANE, with artwork by SHANE OAKLEY (Alan 'FROM HELL' Moore's LIMBO) and short films. Also in development are feature projects including CROWLEYMASS and TIME IS A GHOST.
